When will your website be live.

Montrelia's published rule: a website of up to 10 pages is live 3 business days after your last checklist item is checked, skipping weekends and US federal holidays. With Day 1 counted as the next business day, a checklist checked Wednesday, November 25, 2026 gives Tuesday, December 1.

Find your date

For an owner with a launch date to hit: enter the day your last checklist item is checked, or the day you need the site live. Late credit: $200 per business day of our delay, up to $1,000. Your dates stay in your browser.

Which day do you know?

Any day from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.

After the first delivery, 0 to 10. Use 0 if you reply the next morning.

Fill this in to see the late credit if the site went live after the rule date.

How it decides

The observed-holiday sentence in rule 1 and the Day 1 rule in rule 3 are Montrelia counting decisions of October 6, 2026.

  1. A business day is Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays: OPM's 2026 and 2027 lists. When a federal holiday falls on a weekend, the weekday on which the US government observes it counts as the holiday. For example, OPM takes Friday, December 24, 2027 for Saturday, December 25, 2027.
  2. The clock starts when the last of the 5 checklist items is checked (the list is on the web design page).
  3. Day 1 is the next business day after the last item on the materials checklist is checked. Day 2 is the next one, with first delivery at its end.
  4. Day 3 is the next business day after Day 2, plus one for each business day you take to send feedback (0 to 10). Live means published on your own domain.
  5. Late credit is $200 per business day of our delay, up to 50% of the fee, at most $1,000: 5 late business days on a $2,000 site. Paused days do not count (pricing page). A late business day is a business day after the rule date, up to and including the day the site went live, so a site due Friday, October 16, 2026 and live on Saturday, October 17 has 0 late business days. That is the tool's reading of "per business day of our delay"; the terms do not spell it out.
  6. The latest-day check finds the last calendar day from which rules 1 to 4 still end on your live day. That day can be a weekend or a holiday, and the result then headlines the last business day to check. A live day that is not a business day counts back from the business day before it. A live day is out of reach when counting forward from today, the date on your device, ends after it.
  7. Dates outside January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027 get a message, because the holiday list stops there.

What it cannot tell you

  • More than 10 pages. The rule covers up to 10 pages, and the web design page lists more as not a fit.
  • How long you need to gather the 5 items. The 3 business days start only after the last one. How we work shows each day.
  • Waits for access or payment, which also pause the clock. The tool adds only your feedback days.
  • What the site will do: live is not a ranking, traffic or leads.
  • Costs after launch: the $2,000 is one time, and hosting and domain renewal are yours to pay (website cost over three years). Other providers' prices and launch times: website cost in Northern Virginia and DC.

Questions people ask

How many calendar days is 3 business days?

With no holiday in between, it is 3 calendar days if the last item is checked on a Monday or Tuesday (live Thursday or Friday) and 5 if it is checked on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (live the next Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday). Each weekday federal holiday in between adds one business day.

What if my materials are complete on a weekend or a holiday?

Day 1 is the next business day. Checked on Saturday, October 17, 2026, Day 1 is Monday, October 19 and the site is live on Wednesday, October 21. Checked on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, Day 1 is Friday, November 27 and the site is live on Tuesday, December 1.

Does the late credit come off the invoice or come back as cash?

The published terms say it comes off your invoice. They do not say when the invoice is issued or paid, so ask for that in writing before you start. The credit is $200 per business day of our delay, up to 50% of the fee, at most $1,000, and never counts the days the clock is paused for you.

What if my feedback takes longer than 10 business days?

The clock pauses while we wait for your feedback and resumes when you reply. The tool counts that wait in whole business days and accepts 0 to 10. For a longer wait, count the extra business days forward from the date the tool shows for 10, skipping weekends and federal holidays.
